A hand-tied bridal bouquet of seasonal garden flowers

Flowers in season look better, last longer and cost less. A month-by-month guide for couples planning ahead.

The single best thing you can do for your wedding flowers is choose them by season. Flowers in season are fresher, more generous and kinder to your budget.

Spring

Ranunculus, tulips, anemones, narcissus and blossom branches. Soft butter, peach and white.

Summer

Peonies in June, then sweet peas, garden roses, astrantia and scabiosa. The widest choice of the year.

Autumn

Dahlias, cosmos, chrysanthemums, rosehips and turning leaves. Rich copper, wine and peach.

Winter

Amaryllis, hellebores, white roses and every kind of evergreen. Candlelight does the rest.
