The day
01—02
Hattie and Jonah wanted their wedding to feel like a summer evening at home: long tables, plenty of candles and flowers that looked as if they had grown where they stood.
We filled antique jugs with peonies and sweet peas, built a loose meadow arch for the ceremony from wild grasses and garden roses, and scattered petals along the old brick path.
Everything was grown within thirty miles, and most of it came from three small Somerset growers we work with every June.
Flowers we used
Peonies, garden roses, sweet peas, astrantia, jasmine, wild grasses
The palette
Nell turned a slightly scruffy walled garden into the most romantic place we’ve ever been.
