The day
01—02
Ama and Theo asked for an autumn wedding that felt warm rather than rustic. We kept the palette to copper, peach and deep wine.
A hanging installation of copper beech and dahlias floated above the top table, and each long table had low bowls of chrysanthemums and rosehips between brass candlesticks.
The bridal bouquet was café au lait dahlias with trailing amaranthus, tied with silk ribbon dyed in avocado skins.
Flowers we used
Café au lait dahlias, chrysanthemums, rosehips, copper beech, oak leaves
The palette
The barn smelled of autumn the moment you walked in. People still talk about the dahlias.
